Product Overview

Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride is a first-generation broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic with an extensive history of clinical use spanning over six decades. It acts by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit, reversibly inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. Its spectrum covers Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as Rickettsia spp., Chlamydia spp., and Mycoplasma spp.

This pharmaceutical-grade Oxytetracycline HCl meets BP, EP, and USP pharmacopoeia requirements and is suitable for a range of human pharmaceutical dosage forms. Its well-characterized safety profile and broad antimicrobial spectrum continue to make it a relevant API for diverse therapeutic applications including respiratory infections, dermatological conditions, and specific zoonotic diseases.
