Product Overview

Ciprofloxacin is a second-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic for veterinary use, offering broad-spectrum bactericidal activity against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive organisms. It is one of the most potent fluoroquinolones against Gram-negative bacteria including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, making it highly valuable in veterinary medicine.

Ciprofloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes critical for DNA replication. Its excellent tissue penetration makes it effective for deep-seated and intracellular infections. Available as both base (for oral suspensions) and hydrochloride salt (for tablets and injections). Widely used in poultry, swine, cattle, and aquaculture.
